Trust an artist to want to create art. In Rebecca Morrice Williams‘ case, she wanted to make art with skin for a canvas. Yes, skin. Williams is obsessed with skin. As a matter of fact, she has dedicated the better part of the past 12 years developing a range of products that create glowing complexion. But how did a project started by a woman with a brush turn into a behemoth corporation with a base in Western Australia and business interests elsewhere?

How did Rebecca give birth to Becca Cosmetics?

It all started with work. Williams was a makeup artist on the look-out for the perfect foundation. The search, however, turned out to be just as grueling and futile as the search for the Holy Grail. In a moment of inspiration, Williams decided to create her own product line. She teamed up with Steven Schapera to create Becca Cosmetics, a product line that produces the perfect foundation for all types of races, all types of faces.

At the root of Becca philosophy is skin – flawless, wonderful skin no matter the age or ethnicity. To this end, Becca Cosmetics pushes boundaries and defies norms, at least where beauty is concerned. For example, while most brands target Caucasian women, Becca goes global, coming up with 30 foundations and 34 concealers that any woman can wear — whether she’s a safari tour guide in Kenya, a developmental worker in the barrios of the Philippines, or a farm help in the rice paddies of China.

While fabulous skin remains the focus of Becca Cosmetics, the company’s collection also extends to blush, lip gloss, mascara, and soft, handcrafted makeup brushes.Becca Cosmetics – Beauty Without Boundaries “I only make products I can’t live without,” says Williams, and this commitment to quality seems to have worked. Industry experts and consumers alike swoon over Becca’ realistic shades, lightweight, dream-to-blend textures, and chic packaging.

Finally, there is one brand that recognizes with beauty, as with art, there are no boundaries, no exceptions. With Becca Cosmetics, all women are beautiful.
